Since we were kids our parents sang us lullabies for sleeping, today various research have revealed that listen music reduce insomnia before going to bed! Listen to your favorite music genre helps you to go to sleep more quickly.

A study in 2003 looked at students taking a nap in a controlled sleep lab, monitored by a polysomnograph. The result? Music listeners fell asleep faster. Another study in 2008 found that classical music could help the majority of insomniacs better than those who listened to an audiobook. Another 2012 research proved relaxing music before bedtime helped listeners drift into a peaceful sleep.
Of course it doesn’t mean that you have to delete your EDM tracks, just listen your EDM playlist in another moments of the day !

‘Invector’ the new video-game by Avicii is available!

Are you an EDM and video-games fan and you can’t wait to reconcile the things? Well, our super DJ, Avicii, has announced that he will send a fascinating video game soon! Yes, that’s right! It will be called ‘INVECTOR’ and, by the first trailers, we discovered that it will be a kind of Guitar Hero with space themes, but without the guitar! The game, available for Playstation4, after made it’s first appearance two years ago, it’s finally complete, and it will be available shortly although there isn’t an official date!

How you feel when you listen your favorite songs? Drop makes you dance, but at the same time gives you the goosebumps? Well, you aren’t strange! A recent study has shows that who tries these feelings has a different neural structure…in a good way, of course! Matthew Sachs a student of USC PhD, published in Oxford Academic his research and has declared “have a higher volume of fibers that connect their auditory cortex to the areas associated with emotional processing, which means the two areas communicate better.” and also “Depression causes an inability to experience pleasure of everyday things,” he says. “You could use music with a therapist to explore feelings.” The study was carried out in 20 people, but Matthew hopes that his research could be used in the future for depression.

Thanks to a research which was drawn up by RIAA through Nielsen, BuzzAngle and MiDIA, we have discovered how much the creators earn for each 1000 streams:

-Apple Music: Slightly over $12

-Spotify: About $7.50

-YouTube: Around $1.50

In addition, IiB (information is Beautiful), analyzing further informations, has declared how many plays are necessary to obtain a minimal profit:

Apple Music / 230,000 plays

Spotify / 380,000 plays

YouTube / 2.4 million plays

To do this liB examined data from artists and Digital Music News, which shows that the signed artists earn:

-Apple Music: $7.30

-Spotify: $4.40

-YouTube: $0.70

while artists without signature:

Apple Music / 230,000 plays

Spotify / 380,000 plays

YouTube / 2.4 million plays

Firstly we find Calvin Harris but his profit is decreased than last year, dropping from $63 million to $48 million. In second place we find Tiesto, while The Chainsmokers are in third position with a profit that goes beyond $30 million. These last have crossed Skrillex, Steve Aoki and Martin Garrix making get out of the classification Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike! A lot of money, right? The picture, posted on Instagram by the same model, shows us that they aren’t simply friends! Is this the beginning of a love story between the beautiful Charelle and the great Martin Garrix? Thanks to the numerous studies and inventions, a device has been created able to create drinks “to the taste” of preferred song! Nomura, a Japanese company, has developed a futuristic juicer that creates a drink based off a song. It’s magic, you may be able to taste and drink your favorite song. The Squeeze Music, analyzes the waveforms of a song and tailors five feelings — happy, exciting, romantic, sentimental and sad; from the song to five flavors: sweet, sour, astringent, salty and bitter flavors. For example, happy songs could taste sweeter while sad songs could taste bitter. The inventor Akinoro Goto said that among not very the juicer will be used to the festivals to make cocktails. By this way, you could drink a “cocktail song” at your next music festival!

Bye paper ticket, welcome new technologies!

A lot of guys love to go to festivals, the atmosphere they create, the fun and the music, but how many of you love the endless rows for the tickets? I think anyone! That’s why Lisnr launched an app that solves the problem of long files at festivals and sports events! This new technology uses distinct “smart tones” emitted from a person’s phone in order to create a sort of unique user ID corresponding to that person’s ticket. Signals from the phone (via an app that must be installed before the event) will emit tones between 18.75 kHz and 19.2 kHz, frequencies that are inaudible to 90 per cent of people. Microphones at the venue will pick up on these signals and cross-reference them with their database; the person’s phone will light up green and they’re good to go.

bye bye paper ticket!

The app is certainly lacking of problems, as it can not buy tickets for more people. When will it be available? For now, the app is only available in the UK, in four years it will be up to everyone’s disposition!

What the guys do at festivals? Typically there are two kinds of guys 
at EDM festivals: those who like to jump in the middle of the crowd at every drop 
and those who prefer the calm of the VIP areas and tables. 
These latter, however, are increasingly inclined to spend their money 
in tons of drinks and alcohols. But the bill? How much they spent in one night?
We found on the web the bill of EDC "vip sky deck" and you will not believe in your eyes: 
an insane amount of money!
