Interview with Clambake & Rav3era

Brothers Clambake & Rav3era have been proving their artistry skills time and time again with intricate productions that are high-energy and club ready. They are back with an incredible 2 track EP that has taken the scene by storm and rapidly gaining support from some of the biggest names in the industry. We sat down with the boys to discuss some behind the scenes info about their latest release.

How would you sum up the vibe of the whole ‘I Want’ EP?

The “I Want” EP consists of two energic Electro House Tracks. We would describe it as having a powerful vibe.

What was the inspiration behind ‘Bounce That’?

“Bounce that” was firstly, a Bass House project from us. As we’ve finished the first Edit of it, we noticed that we could make more out of it. So, we tried to create something different, something new. Then we had the idea for this crazy lead, and we think it sounds really unique now. That was the goal for us. It is difficult to stand out from the crowd these days. there are many good and creative geniuses out there who release such good music but we think with ‘Bounce’ that we dropped something special.

What was the inspiration behind ‘I Want’?

The idea behind “I Want” was to create a cool, powerful Electro House Track. For us has ‘I Want’ a mood like: ‘’you are under tension and on your way through everyday life’’

Do you have a favourite track or part of the EP?

That’s really difficult. We are really happy with the whole EP but the second pre-drop of ‘’Bounce That’’ is definitely a special one! Nobody expects it and it overwhelms with complete conviction. We got a lot of cool feedback about this part of the song.

How has the initial reaction been?

The initial reaction was so crazy! We earned a lot of love and positive feedbacks for our music. Some really great artists like David Guetta and Jonas Aden have supported it.

That’s just amazing for us! It feels amazing every time.

What goals did you set for the EP?

We always try to make the people out there who support or follow us, happy with our music. Of course, we want to reach the charts, who does not want that for the music they make? But first and foremost, it is about making so many people out there happy with our music.

You’ve had some really great releases this year, what do you think has contributed to your creative success at the moment?

We think, the most important thing is, do and make what you love and keep your Goals always in your eyes. This works very well at the moment for us.

Do you feel your style has developed over the previous year and if so how?

If you compare our ”LIGHTHOUSE EP” from 2018 with our music from today. You will quickly notice what has changed. At that time, we didn’t know exactly which direction to go. When we released ”DON’T SWEAT IT ” on OTW Records (MIXMASH) 3 months later, it quickly became clear to us that this is our style. Of course, the quality of our productions is definitely higher. we always try to get better in what we do!

Can you let us into an exclusive on what other projects you are working on?

Yeah sure, we’re working on a lot of new music. There is a collab with a great DJ / Producer which we’re working at the moment. We’ve also got six tracks in the pipeline which we like to release this year, but step by step 😉
